My first hole in one came on Friday, October 7. I was playing a dogfight with a few buddies in the afternoon.

The second par three of the day, about 180 yards, slightly uphill and into the wind.

I purchased a Titleist 910H a few days before. I had hit it on the range a few times, but never in the field of play.

The first swing with the club in the field was on number 8...and it was my first hole in one. We did not see it go in the hole, however, we knew it was going to be close...it was better than close, it was in the jar.

The ball landed about 7 feet below the pin and rolled in.
