Ace #2 for me came at the 11th hole at Gulf Winds Golf Course on Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, TX. #11 was playing at 171 yards today from the tips. This is a very shallow green that runs right to left. There is a water hazard that guards the front, along with 3 bunkers. We had a tail wind which makes it very hard to stop the ball on the green. I used my Titleist 712 CB 8 iron. I teed the Pro V1 up a little in an effort to put more back spin on the ball. The ball landed on the green, took 1 big hop and rolled gently into the hole. Not too shabby for a 69 yo golfer.
