On September 14th, 2011, I called my dad to wish him not only a happy 61st birthday, but also to tell him that I made my first hole in one!

I made a 4 iron from 198 yards out on the 7th hole at Mauna Kea in Hawaii, and my wife and her family were all there to witness and take pictures.

My dad did not hesitate to remind me that I need 11 more to catch him!
