He called it

While we were waiting our turn on the tee, one of our foursome says, "I've got a feeling one of use is going to get a hole in one on this hole".

We all laughed, and said, "sure".

The hole was playing 139 yards straight into the wind, and the pin was tucked behind the bunker at the back right of the green. I played a 9-iron back in my stance to keep it low, carried the bunker, then one hop and stuffed into the cup.

It was awesome to hole it out in front a bunch of my friends at work, as well as the the marshal and group behind us patiently waiting.

I got a little nervous after that because I didn't want to frame my scorecard with huge score on it. I made a couple of double bogeys before I pulled my head out and started swinging again. Finished with an 84, and that won't look too bad in the trophy case.
