Playing at Butternut Farm GC Stow MA, May 24, 2016 . . . Windy day. 11th hole, elevated green . . . could see the flag stick but not the cup. 130 yard nine iron into the wind . . . straight at the flag. Bounced once and I heard it hit the flag stick. Got to the green expecting to see the ball having caromed off to the side . . . looked in the hole and yes . . . there was my Titelist Pro V1x (red 8) resting nicely at the bottom of the hole! This is my seventh HIO and it is always at thrill! Not bad for a 78 year old golfer.
