3 of my closest childhood friends from Pittsburgh and I went to Myrtle Beach last week on a 3 day golf vacation. We're all mediocre golfers around a 15 handicap and none of us has ever come close toa hole in one. Before our first round we agrred in the unlikely event one of us gets a hole in 1 the others would pay a 500 prize each - obviously everyone thinking it could b le a million prize, nobody's getting a hole in 1. On the second day of our trip and second 18 of day it happened. On the World Tour Golf Links #3 hole - a replica of the tpc sawgrass island hole. After two friends put it into the water, I hit a smooth pitching wedge that one hopped over the hole and spun back in the cup for an ace. I becme ware when the group on another hole started screaming as they saw it go down. I used a Titleist Pro V number 2 and the couse provided me a plaque to remember the awesome event! Dan Cain
