I as playing in the first night of my league, April 26th. I have never been close to an ace( closest prior was 6ft - and I missed the birdie put-Doh!). This shot was at my course Links of Novi in Novi, MI. South course, 3rd hole, 127 yds. I played and 8-iron. I knew was good shot - with good chance of birdie put. But I wear glasses and at 6:15 pm on Apr 26, the sun was not very bright(gray and overcast) like the mid-day sun. One of my fellow golfers had new progressive glasses and said it disappeared. I didn't believe him until we got up on the green and saw it in the cup. I am a 13 handicap golfer so this was definitely unexpected. Will keep me coming back for next one, should the golf gods bless me.
