3rd hole of a Saturday round. I don't get too many of those. It is a Black Tee stableford day. So I'm in the Stableford for the day and Two Twos as well.

Hit a 6 and a 7 on the first two holes thinking ohh man is it gonna be one of those days. Get the third and only my playing partner and myself are teeing off on the blacks. So we head up there. 180metre (196yards) par 3. Take out my Hybrid which is my go to club on these kind of Par 3s. Off the whites normally plays at about 145m (160yards). So I step up and hit my shot. Comes off sweet. Im watching thinking good line. Not sure about the length though probably gonna go over. Drops quickly from the sky. One bounce and we hear the flag stick jar. Im looking around the hole to see where it has gone. No where. "It's in" I shout. Laughs all around. Playing partner has played for 30years and never had a hole in one.

Ended shooting a 90 off the stick (19 handicap). And 40 stablefords for the day. Won the Stableford comp for the day also the local pro counts a hole in one as Two Twos so I won the jackpot for the day as well. $40 won for a round of golf AND $100 shout at the club house for the hole in one. Fantastic.
