It's a beautiful day for an ace

My day began by my car not starting at 6 AM, followed by me promptly locking my keys in it. I had to call in to work while I waited for the locksmith to come get me my keys. When my fiancé woke up she let me know "Maybe there's a good reason you didn't head to work today". Flash forward to 2 PM and I'm out catching 18 with my old man. Before he moves to Alaska next month we want to get in as much as we can. It's a perfect day out and as we roll up to the par 3 11th I say out loud to him "It's a beautiful day for an ace". I shoot the pin at 184 a little downhill. So I pull out the trusted 7 and let one fly. It came off the club so pure and as soon as it started it's little baby draw I said to my dad "Feels like an ace" He put his arm around me while we watched it come down on the green and track straight at the hole. When the ball hit the pin and dissapeared straight down it was like the greatest feeling of joy/relief I have experienced. I sang and danced and jumped around and bought all the drinks when we headed into the bar at the end of the round. Turns out it was a pretty good day to miss work.
