It doesn't matter your handicap or the round you are having.

May 3, 2015 my younger son wanted to play 9 holes at The Ranch in Westminster, Colorado where we are members. I looked on the tee sheet and signed us up with our 2 friends Kathleen and Michael Borchlewicz. Needless to say I was definitely playing to my 25.6 index. It was not a very good round for me and I was getting rather frustrated when, on hole #4, a 110 yard par 3 I pulled out my pitching wedge and one of my Pro V balls and approached the tee box. As I was playing so poorly that day I did not even bother to take a practice swing - I just hit the ball.
Mid flight my friend Kathleen says "Oh Leah, I think you are buying drinks!!" Sure enough it went straight into the hole!
Wow - what a feeling that was and it just goes to show you it does not matter your handicap or the type of round you are having - a Hole In One can happen to anyone.
LoL :)
