Jim Martins 1st Hole in One

I played in a golf tournament on May 4, 2015 at the Shangri-La Golf Course at Monkey Island Oklahoma @ Grand Lake in a 4 man scramble format for the ORMCA ( Oklahoma Ready Mix Concrete Association). We were playing the Legends course and it was hole #4 which is a par 3 and that day was 157 yards. My dad put me in golf lessons when I was 7 years old so I have been playing for 33 years when I had my first hole in one that faithful day. I have been playing Cally golf balls for about the last 5 years and last July I switch to Titleist and that's been the ball of choice. As we came up to hole #4 I grabbed my 9 iron as I thought was the club and Rusty who is a far better player than me pulled out the same club and came up a little short, I went back the bag and grab my 8 iron as my thought just hit an easy 8. I lined up my shot a little left of the flag and placed my DT Solo on the tee and swung easy, I lost it on the way down as my other teammate Colt Kudron had his eye on it I heard it hit the green and a few seconds later I here say that went in the cup!!! He told me I didn't say a word for about 10-15 secs and I ask him "did that go in the hole"? I freaked out and we drove to the green to pick my Titleist DT Solo out of the bottom of the cup!!! We found where the ball hit about 4 feet in front of the flag and bounced straight into the cup!!! So the bottom line is there will never be another ball in my bag but a Titleist ball in my bag.... I am convinced that you guys at Titleist go above and beyond to make sure you guys are making the best balls and equipment out there so again thank you guys for having a place to share these kind of stories. By the way the driver in my bag is a Titleist 907D2 9.5 degree with a Diamana 65 flex -R shaft.

Sincerely,
