When I hit my 8 Iron 165 yard hole in one, it landed about 15 feet directly behind the hole on a slight draw into the green. It then juiced back with some sweet back spin right into the cup. Sweet sight, sweet feeling. The 70 year old guy I was playing with was so excited about it that he didn't know how to express his excitement and gave me a big hug and kiss on the cheek. Wow, never forget that? What a fun day, ended 1 under par on 18 that day. Loved it.
