I was playing in a customer outing when I had my first hole in one. It was a captain and crew format at Timber Banks in Baldwinsville, NY. The best part of the story is that the prize for the ace was $15,000 cash. I was first to hit. There were two ladies at the tee and two at the green. It was 172 yards and I hit my 4 iron. It was a good shot, going straight to the pin. I actually thought it stopped rolling and I remember thinking to myself, this is probably one of those times when you think you're inches away but when you get close you find you're still 11 feet out. And then it disappeared. Our team went nuts when we saw the two ladies at the green jumping and cheering. It was good timing I guess... Thanks Titleist!
