I started playing golf in April 2014. My son, Lucas gave me a gift of 10 golf lessons from Andrew Cortez, a PGA Professional at Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta, CA. I am an avid competitor and found out quickly that this is not a game you get without many hours of practice and adjustment. Now I hit balls and play rounds almost every day.
Today, June 28th,2015, I had my first Eagle, a Hole in One on #12 at Cross Creek Golf Course in Temecula, CA. I have a new enhanced desire for golf and will continue to get better.
Being an SCGA member and now under the instruction of PGA Professional Pat Kemball at Canyon Lake Country Club I feel as if I have entered a world of proper etiquette and gamesmanship unequalled in all the world. Play on.
