On March 15, 2016 I was playing with WW2 Veteran and a previous Board Member of our club. On the 5th hole par 3, 135 yds I hit a 9 iron into the front of the green and the ball disappeared over the front of the green. When we got to the green the ball was nowhere to be seen, it was in the hole! But that's not all. On the 17th par 3, 145 yds, I hit an 8 iron into the green and commented that it was a pretty good hit. When we got to the green, again, the ball was nowhere to be seen. It was in the hole. A double ace in the same round of golf! To anyone's knowledge at the course, that has never happened before. I have been using a Titleist Velocity ball since they came out. Not bad for a 60 yr old and 10 hdcp.
