Gorgeous day at Applebrook Golf Club in Malvern, PA! Hole #11 - a short par 3 with a massive and deep bunker protecting the green. Yardage was 90 yards with a helping wind, blowing left to right. I selected a pitching wedge & tee'd up my Titleist ProV1 #50. (I turned 50 a couple of years ago and am still using my "birthday balls"!!) Put a real nice swing on the ball & as I looked up to track the ball, started worrying that it wasn't going to carry the bunker. I started saying "go, go, go" and the caddy started saying "go"… Ball landed just on the other side of the bunker, took a little hop & started rolling. I was just so relieved that I carried the bunker, I wasn't really paying close attention, but quickly realized the ball was rolling right toward the flag. Now the caddy is saying "go" in a different tone of voice!! I watched as the ball took one last roll right into the bottom of the cup!!!! Awesome experience to share with my wife, a great friend of ours and a friend of his! Thank you Titleist - my second hole in one with a ProV1. I'm a lifer ;)
