I was standing on the tee with a light breeze in my face and 132 yards to a front right pin location over water. I took out my favorite club in my bag which is my 9-iron and I wanted to hit a 3/4 knock down shot with a little butter cut around the edge over the water. I hit the shot and as soon as it left the club I knew it was going to be close and as I watched it the other 2 men in my group were yelling "Be good" and "Get Down!" Obviously one of them struggles with depth perception but I remained quiet while watching it land and when it hit the front of the green it took a big hop forward and then grabbed with a little side spin and I watched it fall right in the hole for my first ace! It could not have been more fitting then to hit it with my favorite club! The guys in my group were yelling and screaming and dancing around the tee box and I just turned around and smiled with my hands in the air cause I was in shock that it fell in the hole. It was a great day! I am so happy I finally got one!
