Number 12 at Hopedale CC has an elevated tee with a good view of the green. From the front markers as hole #3 it plays 120 to 138 yards; it is well bunkered. From the back tees as #12 it can be upwards of 181+ yards.On 8/3 it was playing 168 yards. My grandson and two of my regular playing partners watched the ball head for the "gap" between the two bunkers on the front and side. We saw the ball barely miss the bunker in the front and go toward the hole. My grandson says he heard it hit the pin as we watched disappear into the hole. There was a foursome on the nearby first tee when we drove up. They did not see it go in but they watched me remove the ball from the hole.
