Yesterday I skipped out on work early to play a round with my dad. We live in Dallas and like to play a variety public of courses, so we choose Bear Creek's West course. I played horrible on the front nine, and was pretty frustrated because I was hitting the ball well, but scoring awful! I gave myself a pep-talk on #10, and started playing & scoring better on the back nine, even though the wind was picking up. We got around to #17, a 149 yard Par 3, and the wind was right to left and a little in our faces. My goal all day was to not leave the ball short, so I pulled out my 4 Iron. I started it out over the right side of the green and drew it in...it landed about 15 feet short of the hole, took one bounce, then rolled in! This was my second ever hole-in-one, but I didn't see the first one go in, so it felt like the first time all over again! What a great way to finish a round!
