I was playing golf in The Villages, Florida with my regular foursome, as we always do every Wednesday & Friday. We were playing the 'Palmetto Executive Golf Course' located here in The Villages. On the 2nd hole I tee'd up in the second slot. The hole played 99 yards from the gold tee's. I hit a high shot, directly at the flag. As it came down I was enjoying the view as usual, after hearing a solid click from my club (bazooka # 9 Hybrid) when the ball hit six feet from the flag, bounce one and disappeared. My foursome screamed it's in the hole and I could not believe what I had just experienced. A 'Hole in One'.... I've come close on numerous occasions (within 12 inches) but never in the hole. It was a feeling of disbelief and thrills at the same time. All I can say is Wow!
