My first ace
By Mark W On September 17, 2014
On Sunday September 14, 2014 the setting was the 210 yard par 3 fourth hole at En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott, NY for Mark Wesloski to record his first career ace. Wesloski pulled an iron but as his competition came up short he returned to his bag and came to the tee with his trusty BT Catalyst 5 wood (and he is sure glad he did) with a smooth swing he hit a pure, towering 6 yard fade that landed softly on the the fringe with the perfect amount of spin on his Titleist Pro V1 to trickle on the green and roll as smooth as a putt into the heart of the cup. Playing with Mark on Sunday were "Uncle" Larry Cerep, Jude "Lost Ball" McDonough and Mike "One Armed Bandit" Pasqualicchio, also witnessing this moment of golf perfection from the green were Kyle "Mattress" Dempsey, Tony "Kid" Yerka, "Long" Pat Mitchell and John "The Male Nurse" Schiliro.
