I have been playing golf for 20+ years and have been close, but never made a hole in one. On 27 February 2021, that all changed. I was having a good back nine at Blue Rock Springs - East course and the challenging 16th awaited. From a slightly elevated tee box with wind coming into and off the right, was unsure what club to hit. I choose a 5 iron. One final breathe and swing, the ball was tracking the pin the entire way. I saw it hit the green and roll towards the cup. Playing partners on different tee boxes (forward) has a much better view of the ball rolling into the hole.
