It was a beautiful spring day in Ct (finally) and I was playing with my normal Sunday group at my club, Fox Hopyard in East Haddam Ct. on Sunday June 8th tee time 7:20. After a fairly boring first 9, shot 42, I decided I would be more aggressive on the back 9. Got up to our #11 Par 3 over a giant gorge and being short is not an option. I hit my hybrids better than my 5-7 irons. One of my playing partners was on the green about 6 feet away and we were playing best 2 balls out of our threesome gross. The pin was 159 yards and I was in between clubs so I chose the 4 hybrid. I play the Titleist Pro V1x and I hit the perfect shot never thinking of a hole in 1 only saying out loud get close. The ball landed about 6 feet in front of the hole 1 bounce and then it rolled right in. YEA! I have been sticking greens far more regularly with the Pro V1 x since I switched from the Pro V 1.
