I was playing in the Fifth annual Matt Morrell Scholarship Drive on Aug 11th 2012.
Matt was a great person that his life cut short by leukemia. His golf out outing is a great cause, with all proceeds going to a high school student that lettered in two sports along with a 3.2 grade point average.
It was the 12th hole, about 164 yards, when I hit Titleist NXT Tour with my 7 iron. The ball flew right at the pine and with one hope right into the cup.
Not only was it my first hole in one, but it also was a prize hole where I won a Mini Cooper Convertible.
What a great day of golf!
