This account was written by my golf partner who witnessed my first hole-in-one that occurred at Ridgeview Ranch Golf Club in Plano, Texas, hole #17 on January 4, 2016.

It was hole 17 at Ridgeview. It was 150 yards from the Blue tees to the red flag up in front of the green, with a slight breeze behind us. David Carroll hit a 7 iron perfectly lofted. The ball hits on the front of the green a little left of the pin--right when he hit I told him that might go in. It was a perfect line because the green takes everything right. So it hits and takes a divot and starts rolling very slowly to the right. Then we watch it as it very slowly rolls out and then looks like it stopped...and then drops into the cup. It came into the cup on the back side and it was the perfect speed to just drop. What a shot!!! Congratulations!!!
