It was October 20th, 2012 late in the afternoon. My friend Van and i were on the 8th holt tee box at Wild Ridge golf course in Eau Claire, WI. Van hit first and his ball landed short of the green. I teed up my NXT Tour and prepared to hit it with my Mizuno 7 iron. We were about 126 yrds from the pin. I hit the ball and knew right away that it was a good shot. Van had his back turned when I swung. He turned around and we both watched my ball arc towards the left side of the pin location. The ball lande short of and left of the pin. It took one big hop to the right, then rolled into the cup rattling the flag pole. We immediately celebrated.
