To start, I didn't hit a hole-in-one. I'm still chasing that 1. I am writing because I scored a 2, on a par 5. An albatross! Flatirons Gold Course in Boulder, CO, 03/18/2017. Off of the tee of the 560 yard, par 5, I finally hit one straight (enough). I found my Titeleist Pro V1, with the custom personalization that my friend gave me for Christmas, just off the right side of the fairway. My next shot was a 270 yard 3-wood. This club is a 50/50 club for me. Either it will go straight, or it will go terribly wrong. I striped it. A beautiful high fade that bounced in front of the green, and rolled. It disappeared on to the green. It felt good, and I rarely reach the green in two on par 5s. It looked like it rolled over, so I started looking behind the green. I couldn't find it. Finally I retraced my shot and glanced into the cup, and there was my ball with the personalization of my name facing back up at me! I couldn't believe it! In fact, it was so unbelievable that I didn't initially realize what I just accomplished. In the excitement I didn't even take a picture! My dad and brother were there to witness the shot, and of course I kept the ball. I am so excited that I made this show with my personalized V1, and I wanted to share my story. Thanks!
