We were playing our weekly blind-draw scramble at Ocean Breeze in Boca Raton. I drew, Joe and Bob as partners. We started with a birdie on the first and stepped to 2 - 167 yards, right front pin guarded by bunkers in front and back. The shot looked good off the club, but it was a blind hole location from the tee. When we arrived at the green, Bob's ball was on the fringe, but that was it. I knew I carried the front bunker, but... We checked the back bunker - empty. Joe walked to the hole first and went nuts! I really thought he was messing with me, but there was my Pro-V1-X. Great time for a first hole-in-one! We held it together and Joe rolled in an eagle putt on the 9th hole for a "group record" 9 under!
