I was playing golf on New Years Eve with Daniel Mobley and Gene Scott at Waynesboro Country Club in Waynesboro, Georgia. We were playing with what we call the "10:00 group" which is a friendly handicapped competition every weekend. On hole #11 hole that the rangefinder said played 155, I hit a 9 iron about 3-4 feet past the pin and the ball spun back right into the hole.
I quickly called the clubhouse and put a one beer maximum per golfer. It seemed like the course was packed that day with thirsty golfers.
I am a 1 handicapp but had not had a hole-in-one since I was 11 years old at the same course but on another par 3.
