Perfect end to a bad round

I got my first hole-in-one this year during my men's golf league, which luckily enough also earned me a cool $500. I was actually having a pretty poor round overall, shooting above my handicap by a few strokes, and getting beaten by a high school kid. We got to the last hole which is a short (129yd) par 3 over water, with a raised green the size of a postage stamp. Despite being the shortest hole, it's actually one of the more difficult holes on the course. Water in the front, OB to the left, and a shed to the right. I swung a nice and easy 50 degree wedge since the flag was at the front of the green. When the ball (Pro V1) took off it was directly at the pin but too lofted, and it looked like it was going to get wet. It came down barely past the creek, hit the bank, and one-hopped into the cup. I didn't believe it at first. I was elated, especially since I won $500 and had several witnesses.
