Ryder Cup Ace
By JIM M On September 2, 2018
My club has it's own version of the Ryder Cup each year, a two-day, two-man tournament, with 4 different nine hole formats. This hole-in-one occurred on the second day and was the third ace I've had on this hole, #15, par 3, 145 yards, slightly elevated two-tiered green. All the holes-in-one were made using an 8 iron and a ProV1x.
The first hole-in-one I got on this hole was during regular play in which there was a skins game. Feeling very assured of winning a skin that day, I was totally deflated to find out a player two groups behind me had one as well. It worked out...we split the bar bill!
