On what would have been my mom's 62nd birthday, I managed the second Hole-in-One of my lifetime. From 200 yards out on the 17th hole, I hit a 5-wood on the screws and landed it pin-high, four feet right of the flag. The ball released just slightly and caught the backstop behind the back pin position and the ball trickled back toward the hole and disappeared below the surface. It was also the exact same distance, 200 yards, as the only other ace of my life, coming nearly three years ago.
