On 05/19/16, I scored my first hole in one. The hole was a par 3, 126 yards. I used an 8 iron (Titleist) and a Titleist 2 ball. As a retiree, this is the first year that I've played golf with any intensity. I recently took lessons to improve my game, so imagine my and my partner's surprise when we discovered the ball in the hole after teeing off. I'm sure there was a lot of luck involved, but I like to believe the lessons paid dividends with an improved level of skill. The round was capped off with meeting my main goal of breaking 100 and in fact I broke 90. It was a great day!
