So I'm playing my once per month round and scoring my usual 18. Over kind of round. Hole # 16 +3 over snow man . So I get up to 17 up hill yardage 191 par 3 into the wind . So I grab my hybrid and take my easy swing and hope to get it somewhere on the green ? So I let it fly and it's going straight toward the pin so as I walk off the tee box I mutter jokingly go in in the hole. So my friend Anthony jokes did he you hear what Paul said ? He said go in the the hole . As we watched the ball land it appeared to be a nice shot but we never saw where it ended up being nearly 200 yards away and our eye site left us 10 years ago . So Mary any Anthony finish teeing off and as we approach the hole I'm thinking it rolled over the green . Mary takes a peek in the cup as we approach the green and signals it went in . I didn't believe her so she proudly removed the ball to show us that in deed it was the mysterious ace we all wait for . So I putt the ball back so I could enjoy the moment which hadn't quiet set in yet. Well I've got to tell you it's been a joy to play every round and even though I get those snow men on my card from time to time this is everything you imagine it to be , I tell everyone enjoy the day enjoy the fresh air and enjoy the good holes because all the others will lead to something to enjoy , relax and hit another one because the good shots are the ones you want to enjoy . Don't take this game so serious you'll forget to have fun while trying and enjoy your friends that play this game. Score maters but it's not what's important . Have some fun after a snow man and see what happens .
