St. Marlo Country Club

Teeing off on the Par 3 third holes at St. Marlo Country Club is a fairly common occurrence for me. On April 1st, 2017 that all changed. I played a 7-iron from 161 to a flag located in the middle of the green. I hit the ball smooth and sweet and it was right on line. It hit the green and disappeared for a few seconds and then we heard the ball hit the pin. I crouched down because i didn't know if the ball went in or not as there is a ridge in the green and we couldn't see one way or the other. Unfortunately this hindered my celebration as i did not know if the ball was in the hole or not. we drove p to the green and sure enough there she was in the bottom of the cup. I registered with the National Hole-in-One registry and also with the course and will get a plaque inside the clubhouse where i will join the club of Ace's! Greatest feeling of all time.
