Two weeks ago, on a sunny but cold ,windy evening in upstate New York, I was playing what started out as a great night in my ladies league. Then of course it happened, three horrendous holes, 8,8 and a nine. So as we approached the 18th tee, I was a little discouraged. The ladies teed off and didn't reach the green with the wind directly at us. I pulled out my driver, teed up my Titleist ball, choked down on the driver and hit a bullet out toward the pin. As the sun was setting it was difficult to see, and we assumed the ball rolled off the back of the green. After a few moments of looking for the ball where we thought it had gone, I approached the cup and there is was, sitting in the bottom of the cup!! My first hole in One!! It was amazing!!
