Finally.... at 68 I got my "first". The "first" is always the best!!!! I was playing in a foursome with our club's morning blitz which consists of 12 members. So this event cost me 11 beers, one martini and one "hole in one" plaque.
That miraculous shot was a 7 iron of 140 yards with a "PRO VI" to a recently air-rated/sanded green. It bounced once and then rolled 10yds straight into the hole!!! That was amazing watching that ball hold it's line the whole way.
The other good news for the day was our group won the BET$$$$.
