We were on our annual "August" outing and weren't even supposed to play this course...it wasn't part of the packaged we had paid for. We saw the course 2 days earlier and thought it looked like a nice course. The hole in one happened on the finishing hole of the front 9. I was in the in 2nd foursome to play, so we had a little heckling group up by the green which is customary with the group I play golf with. From the gam, the hole played 150...that day we figured it measured about 137. I was going to hit a 9 but decided to play a wedge in - GOOD CALL!! Because the hole was hidden, we thought "The Hecklers" were messing with us! It wasn't until we got up to the green and I asked which ball was mine they said "look in the hole!"...what a great feeling to see that Titelist sitting there in the bottom of the cup next to the pin!!
