The perfect shot

Typical short Par three, not long but a small green. 112 yards from the box, down hill and plays into an afternoon cross wind off the ocean in Newport Beach.

In the words of Harvey Pennick, I took dead aim at the hole. The shot flew right at the pin, when right over the top of the flagstick, 10-12 feet past the hole, and the backspin from my ProV1 backed it right into the jar for an Ace.

It was an expensive evening, but one I'll never forget.
