The second is a surprise

Playing golf in Columbus, Ohio in the fall usually means that it will be windy. This day was no exception. We were playing at Mental Memorial the temps were very mild in the 70s with a 10 mph wind coming from the north. I got to no. 5 a 194 yd. par 3 guarded by sand traps on both sides, and decided that the wind was really going to be a factor with ball flight. I lined up on the tee to the right of the pin as the wind was coming from the right. I hit a solid shot right of the pin and watched the wind take it left of the pin into the downslope of the left sand trap. The ball bounced toward the hole so I thought it would not be too long of a putt and started walking to the cart. My playing partner said "I think its in the hole!" , I thought it might have rolled off of the back of the green. As we got to the green there was no ball on the back so I looked in the cup and there it was. I didn't see it go into the hole! A nice surprise. This is my second hole-in-one this year. The first one I did see go into the hole.(same course, different hole)
