Tiger Shark from 143 out
By JHarriman On June 27, 2016
I was about 10 beers deep or so and we had quit writing down the score because we were all playing so bad. We were on number 13 at Razorback Golf Course in Fayetteville, AR. I was 21 years old and just started to play so I had a mixed set of wedges and irons. At that time my pitching wedge was a Tiger Shark some off brand PW and I caught it on the screws to a down hill green maybe 10 ft from the tee box and 143yds from where we were playing. The crazy thing was that the sun was setting in our eyes so after I hit the ball I couldn't see it land, but I knew it was a good one. We looked in front of, behind, and all around the green looking for that ball. My playing partner finally went ahead and hit his chip close to the pin and tapped it in. He looked in the hole and saw my ball! We went crazy and I was running around so we sat at the next tee box and drank a beer or two and couldn't believe what just happened. Better to be lucky than talented sometimes.
