I will turn 63 on June 6, 2012 and have played golf on and off since I was a teenager. I had never had a hole-in-one; actually never even close. There are three male Barthell's left in our family, my brother Ron and his son Daniel. Both excellent golfers and both with holes-in-one. I am a member at Crystal Falls Golf Course in Leander,Tx. and play most of my golf there. On March 23, 2012 I got my first ace on #8 a par 3 135 yard par 3, using a Titleist NXT. On June 2nd I got my second one at Crystal Falls on #10, a 322 yard, up-hill par 4, using a Titleist ProV1. What made it even more cool was the group ahead of us was putting on the 10th green and could tell me how it hit the hole, jumped up, and landed in the cup. Also the Assistant Superintendent of the course was playing with that group. So, the circle is now complete for the Barthell Boys; we are all in the Hole-In-One Club. Con Barthell
