New Vokey Wedges for Robert Gamez

Robert Gamez was in the Tour Van this morning looking to try out a couple different lob wedges. He currently plays a Vokey Design 60° with 10° of bounce. He wants a little less bounce, so Rick Nelson recommended he try 60T and 60V prototypes. The wedges have a similar grind profile and each offers less bounce and a narrower sole than the 60° Robert is currently playing. The 60V does have slightly more bounce than the 60T, however. We released limited-edition M, V, and P grind Vokey Design wedges a number of years ago. Details on these limited-release wedges can be found on <a href=" rel="nofollow">.

I was playing in a junior tournament and a player in my group had a 60° Vokey Design wedge with the P grind. Just wondering how he may have gotten this club?

I have a 200 Series with the black nickel finish, which I love. Will there be more black nickel releases soon? Thanks.

I really enjoyed the limited edition Vokey Design M grind wedge that was released a few years ago. It's practically grooveless right now. I am really hoping that you guys will release the TVD wedges sometime this year. Thanks!

Both prototypes feature heel, toe, and trailing edge relief that is different from our inline Vokey Design wedges.

That's an oil can finish, which is already available on inline Vokey Design wedges.

What type of finish is on those wedges, and will you guys come out with that type of finish on production model wedges?

Voke works with many players to develop custom grinds that work best for those specific players in specific conditions. These grinds serve as a developmental testing process that often helps shape our in-line offerings but are rarely brought to market in their prototype form.

Are the M, V, and P grinds being released to golf shops in a few months? I know I'd be very excited to see some special grind Vokey wedges.
