90th PGA Championship — Round Two

Titleist brand ambassador Ben Curtis just posted the best round of the tournament so far, a steady 3-under 67 that included 13 pars, four birdies and a bogey. His two-day total of 140 left him in a logjam with 10 players at even par, four of whom had yet to tee off by the time he finished. Ben's 14 Titleist clubs include a new 909 fairway metal (13.5°), 585.H utility metal (21°) and Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 putter, all of which he put in this week. Ben is actually carrying two utility metals this week, adding the 21° to the 17° he normally carries, and starting his AP2 iron set at 4-P. Ben, by the way, is wearing Detroit Lions colors this week as part of his apparel deal with NFL Properties. He found humor in the fact that several fans told him to change his shirt if he wanted any chance to win this week. Tough crowd. Titleist does not manufacture the caps that Ben wears.

Where can we buy the hat that Ben Curtis wore during the PGA Championship this week?

Whoever said that shirt comment should be offered a comedy deal. Pure genius. Love the multiple blog updates. Keep it up!

I have noticed some players have their initials on their clubs and was wondering how you guys stamp the initials (i.e., do you have a special stamp)?
