I'm getting ready to order the new Pro V's. I use the "old" version  of the ProV1 now and have been for a year or so(now that I'm a better golfer), but I'd like to know which ProV I should actually be using....should I stick with the ProV1 or go to the Prov1x? What are the differences? Why have 2 different models, if they both basically perform the same?  My index is 8.9. Thanks, Mike

I tested the new pro v1 ball before it came out and found that on my iron shots I was 3-5 yards longer but 12-15 yards longer off the driver.  I am hitting ap2 irons and 910 D2 driver.  However, I did the test with a 909 D2 driver.  I really like the new ball.

is there more than 5 yards diff?

is there really that much diff in the 2 balls?

My swing speed with the 10.5 degree driver is 80 mph. What Titleist golf ball is best for me to get more distance and less fade? I do well from 100 yards on in. Thank you. Norman

Are these the prototype balls that I tested.

In the fall of 2010, Titleist sent out balls for members of team titleist to demo and submit ratings.  I was just wondering if the balls we were trying were the new ProV's or something else?  Thanks.

Is it unusual for an advanced player to find the Prov1X to feel "Softer" than the Prov1?

Is Prov1X now longer with both driver and irons as compared to the ProV1?

Can I expect good spin with short clubs with ProV1X?

I have always enjoyed the feel of a Titleist golf ball. I feel very confident in my approach shot with the Pro V1. I feel as if I can control the ball on the greens. However I do often generate too much spin  and loose control of the ball when I tee it up and hit the driver. Is there another brand of Titleist Ball I could use during my round that'll give me the same feel as the pro V1. Thank you

As a Team Titleist member, I tested a sleeve of prototype golf balls in September, 2010.  Are these test balls the new ProV1?
