FAIRHAVEN, Mass (Jan. 24, 2013) – Titleist, Golf’s Symbol of Excellence, proudly announces the selection of Jim Michael, Sean Morgan and Mike Summerville as 2012 Sales Representatives of the Year. The official presentation to recognize Michael, Morgan and Summerville for their distinguished honors took place during the annual Titleist National Brand Meeting in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Each of the three honorees has spent the last 16 or more years at Titleist building positions as highly respected ambassadors of the Titleist brand and their fellow associates. Summerville began his career at Titleist in 1992, Michael in 1995 and Morgan in 1997.
Both Summerville and Morgan are first-time recipients of the award, the Titleist sales organization’s highest honor. Michael also earned the distinction in 1997.

Michael, the Titleist Sales Representative in North Chicago, has been a constant fixture for the Titleist Sales team in the Chicago area for the past 18 years. His commitment to building strong business partnerships and consistently providing best-in-class service levels has earned him this prestigious honor for the second time. Michael grew up in Chicago and learned the golf business working with his father, Jim. Sr., the longtime PGA Professional at Biltmoore Country Club in Barrington, Ill. Michael and his wife, Nancy, have two children, Danny and Amanda.
Morgan’s career at Titleist began in 1997 as a member of the Titleist Customer Service team in the company’s worldwide headquarters in Fairhaven, Mass. A couple years later, Morgan transitioned into a clubfitting role on what is now the Titleist FittingWorks Van. Morgan joined the Titleist Sales team in 2004 and won the Titleist New Breed Sales Representative of the Year award in 2007. He moved to Chicago in the summer of 2010 and is responsible for the South Chicago and Northwest Indiana regions. His strong business acumen and commitment to helping his customers achieve their business goals have been the cornerstones of Sean’s success. A native of Cape Cod, Mass., Morgan graduated from Syracuse University. He and his wife Lori, have three daughters, Taryn, Elissa and Aislee.
Summerville is entering his 22nd year with Titleist. He currently serves the Dallas area, displaying a commitment to exceed expectations and lead by example. One of the organization’s most consistent performers over the past two decades, Summerville’s recognition affirms his unwavering commitment to servicing his customers and being a valuable business partner. He started his Titleist career as a member of the Massachusetts-based Customer Service team in 1992 before transferring to the company’s Carlsbad, Calif., location, where he managed the Custom Golf Club department. It was then on to Houston in 1995, when Summerville first joined the Titleist Sales force. He relocated to the Columbus, Ohio, area in late 2003, before moving to Dallas three years later. A graduate of Indiana University, Summerville and his wife, Diane, have two children, Kyle and Grace.
