Limited Release: Vokey Design AD-siXty

Aaron Dill has spent the last 10 years learning his craft from Master Craftsman and Hall of Fame wedge designer Bob Vokey. Known as "AD" and often regarded as one of the hardest-working men on tour, Aaron was hand picked by Bob to be his full-time tour representative. Through hard work and attention to detail Aaron has earned the trust of Bob, as well as the game's best, by delivering the performance, quality and craftsmanship expected of a Vokey Design Wedge.

This week, we are excited to announce a milestone event, as the very first Vokey Design wedge designed by Aaron is now available in limited quantities on WedgeWorks.

In true WedgeWorks fashion, the limited edition Vokey Design AD-siXty comes straight from the tour and was inspired by conversations with tour players like Geoff Ogilvy.

"I spoke with Geoff (Ogilvy) and we got on the topic of Australian golf courses and how they related to courses in America," said Dill. "Geoff was always a low bounce player in his 60 degree wedge. Originally he used the T grind, then was introduced to the L and that has remained a good friend since. After a few more questions, I got to work on a prototype that started with the original chassis that he had in the L grind and removed the ribbon taking the bounce down."

And when Aaron shared this wedge with Geoff, they knew they had a winner.

"The AD-siXty will flight higher and be less bounce in most situations, which makes it a great option for firm conditions and firmer bunkers," added Dill. "This wedge is most similar to the L Grind (60.04) but it has a lower bounce angle in the front which makes it sit closer to the ground. With the ribbon removed, players may also notice a somewhat smoother feel and a faster glide through the rough."

The limited Vokey Design AD-siXty offers more consistent distance control through Progressive Center of Gravity and maximum spin produced by TX4 groove technology. The AD-siXty will also feature a Brushed Nickel finish and will be available on Vokey WedgeWorks starting Sept. 20th. Click here to customize and order your own Vokey Design AD-siXty.

Why not a V-SOLE wedge so we don't have to deal with "Bounce". All to complicated for all but professionals and plus handicappers
