MATT FITZPATRICK WINS 3rd DP WORLD TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE
Matt Fitzpatrick (Pro V1x) prevailed in extra holes to claim his third career win at the DP World Tour Championship, having previously won the season finale in both 2016 and 2020.
- The four-time Ryder Cupper began the final round one shot off the pace before posting a bogey-free 66.
- Fitzpatrick finished regulation with a flurry of three birdies over his final five holes, including a birdie 4 on the 570-yard par 5 18th, which saw him reach 18 under.
- In the playoff, the Englishman saved par with a tidy up-and-down from greenside to win.
- Fitzpatrick was dialed-in with his ball-striking all week long in Dubai, ranking 7th in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green (+6.6) and T3 in Greens in Regulation (81%).
- Fitzpatrick on this week’s layout: “The greens are a good speed. Pins are tucked. You have to hit fairways. In my opinion, you have to hit everything well, you really do. You have to hit your driver well, you have to hit your irons well, and you have to chip it well and you have to putt it well. I know that sounds obvious but there are golf courses where you don't really need to do that, and I feel like this is one that really tests every aspect of your game.”
FITZPATRICK ON THE PERFORMANCE OF HIS PRO V1x
- “There’s obviously so many different variables with a golf ball. I’ve always been kind of a lower flight player but I am kind of high spin so that’s where I feel like my game is at with the golf ball. To be able to rely on the golf ball and know that it’s gonna do what I want it to do – have a consistent flight, consistent spin with every shot that I hit – that’s so important. Having that ability to know what your ball is going to do rather than second guessing makes a hell of a difference and obviously makes you more comfortable. And from there you’re gonna hit better golf shots. I love the golf ball that I’m in, it just works perfectly for my game.”
- “The reason [Pro V1x] is so good for me is feel, I like the harder feel off the club face. I just feel like the spin’s consistent, the flight’s consistent, and that’s what you need in a golf ball. You don’t need it kind of in different windows. It’s nice to have that consistency to have the confidence in the golf ball to know how far it’s going to go every time, and to be within a really tight deviation is obviously so important. This is a game of inches after all, the margins are so fine you want it to be as tight as possible. So that’s why I play Pro V1x because it’s exactly that, you know what you’re going to get every shot and you don’t get any strange effects from shots.”
- “You just know, hitting other golf balls, that as soon as you’ve hit it, it doesn’t have the same effect. I’ve messed around with balls on the range when they’ve been mixed into the Pro V1x bag that I always go to grab, and they just get funky flights. I don’t know how you can play golf with that, to be honest, and not knowing what you’re going to get from shot to shot.”
- “I feel like, for me, the firmer the ball is, the more I can control the spin. That’s always nice for me (with Pro V1x), knowing that I can increase spin, and take spin off it. That’s been the big thing. I know for a fact I can flight the ball easy, much easier, up and down, with the ball that I use.”
- “I’ve been Pro V1x ever since I was probably about 15. It was always the best ball. There was never anything else for me growing up, to be honest. That’s all I’ve ever known.”
EIGHT OF 10 PLAYERS TO EARN PGA TOUR CARDS PLAY PRO V1
- With the 2024-25 DP World Tour season coming to a close, the top 10 players in the final Race to Dubai ranking, not otherwise exempt, have earned PGA TOUR cards for 2026.
- Of the 10, eight play a Titleist Pro V1 golf ball:
- Finishing atop the list — and second in the overall Race to Dubai Ranking — was Marco Penge, who delivered a three-win campaign in 2025.
- Penge will be exempt into next year’s PLAYERS Championship and the first two Signature Events of 2026: the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Genesis Invitational.

ADAM SCHENK (PRO V1) BREAKS THROUGH FOR 1st PGA TOUR WIN
Overcoming relentless island winds on Sunday, Adam Schenk (Pro V1) held steady to post an impressive round of 71 (E) and claim his first PGA TOUR title by one shot.
- Schenk’s full arsenal of shots was on display during the final round as he navigated 30 mile-per-hour sustained winds and gusts up to 45 mph, flighting his golf ball around Port Royal.
- “Being creative is really fun and I think that's what allowed me to pull through this week,” said Schenk on his shot-making after the round. “Not always just ‘see shot, same swing’ every time... If I could do that, I would. I'm just not built that way, so I have to be a little more creative [of] a golfer, and weeks like this benefit me. Other weeks don't, but I think playing to those strengths of mine is going to be beneficial.”
- Schenk showed off his touch around the greens on Sunday as well, leading the field in Scrambling after getting up-and-down on eight of nine attempts (89%).
- Over four rounds, he got up-and-down for par 22 of 27 tries for an 81% clip, ranking third.
- With the tournament hanging in the balance, the 33-year-old also hit four of his final five fairways — and each of his last three — as he held onto the lead down the stretch and eventually brought home the win.

LINN GRANT (PRO V1) WINS 2nd CAREER LPGA TITLE
Linn Grant (Pro V1) earned her 2nd career LPGA title after a ball-striking masterclass saw her lift and separate from the field at the LPGA’s penultimate event of the 2025 season.
- The 26-year-old Swede closed in 65 on Sunday, reaching 19 under for the week and winning by three.
- She hit a field-best 89% greens in regulation and went 52 consecutive holes between bogeys this week (first hole Friday to final hole Sunday), with +14.54 strokes gained during that stretch.
- Grant also led a 1-2-3 finish for Titleist golf ball players, as Jennifer Kupcho (Pro V1) finished runner-up, one shot clear of Gaby Lopez (Pro V1x).

KOTA KONEKO (PRO V1) WINS BY 6 FOR 2nd TITLE OF 2025
Kota Koneko (Pro V1) delivered a steady 2-under 68 on Sunday to finish off a six-shot victory and his second JGTO title of 2025.
- Koneko, who shot rounds of 67-65-63-68, went bogey-free over his last 61 holes of the tournament, a streak that goes back to his 11th hole in Round 1.

STEWART CINK (PRO V1) WINS PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS FINALE, SCHWAB CUP
Stewart Cink (Pro V1) shot a flawless final round 67 (4 under) to come from behind and win the PGA TOUR Champions season finale and lock up the season-long Charles Schwab Cup.
- Cink was dialed across the board this week, leading the field in driving distance and ranking third in both GIR (76%) and scrambling (82%).
- The win marks Cink’s third victory of 2025, having won The Ally Challenge in August and the Insperity Invitational in May.
- It is Cink’s first career Charles Schwab Cup title.
- Steven Alker (Pro V1), also vying for his third win of the year, finished runner-up this week and in the Schwab Cup standings.
- Alker was bidding for back-to-back Schwab Cup titles and a third win in four years, having won the trophy in 2022 and 2024.

TITLEIST BRAND AMBASSADOR CHRIS WOOD PREVAILS IN PLAYOFF FOR 2nd CAREER WIN
Titleist Brand Ambassador Chris Wood came out on top after making birdie on the fourth extra hole to seal the win.
- Prior to the playoff, Wood had made birdie on the 72nd hole to reach 6 under for the week.
