Paratore Breaks Through with Nordea Masters Win

Titleist Brand Ambassador Renato Paratore (Pro V1x) held off the challenges of fellow Titleist golf ball loyalists Chris Wood (Pro V1x) and defending champion Matthew Fitzpatrick (Pro V1x) to claim the Nordea Masters for his first career European Tour title.

The 20-year-old, who started the final round one shot behind Wood, closed with a 3-under-par 70 at Barsebäck Golf & Country Club in Sweden en route to an 11-under-par 281 victory total, one shot clear of Wood and Fitzpatrick.

Paratore became the youngest winner on the European Tour since 2013. He also topped a leaderboard on which each of the top seven finishers and 17 of the top 20 relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

Paratore’s fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador George Coetzee (Pro V1x) started the day seven shots off the lead, but closed with a course record-setting 7-under-par 66, which included nine birdies, to finish in a tie for fourth.

“I feel really great,” Paratore said after the breakout victory. “The first win, I will remember this my entire life.”.

Congratulations, Renato!
