Team Titleist Visits Ballyhack | Event Recap

Team Titleist was extremely fortunate to receive an invite to Ballyhack Golf Club in Roanoke, Virginia. TT Member, Wade W. went to great lengths to host to a small group of fellow TT members to his beloved home club for an all-inclusive Titleist experience.

Let's start with the course. Architect Lester George massaged a true masterpiece into the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains when he created Ballyhack. The holes are somehow more dramatic than the vistas, and despite only being a half-dozen miles from a bustling little city, you feel a world away from civilization on each and every hole.

Ballyhack is one of six unique golf clubs that make up the Dormie Network; a private national membership that includes access to destination golf venues throughout the country. Whether you're a long-term Dormie Network member or, in this case, a first-time visitor, the unparalleled hospitality is the same. Add in the hosting prowess of the aforementioned hosting member, Wade W., and you have a Team Titleist outing for the history books.

The event unfolded over 3 days and 2 nights with accommodations at Ballyhack's executive cottages. As if daily golf and Titleist product experiences weren't enough, the cottages flanked the enormous 20,000 square-foot 18th green where, each night, Team Titleist burned the midnight oil chippings balls into the illuminated green from the comfort of their cottage patio.

Not only did Team Titleist enjoy 18 holes of golf every day, but they were also introduced to "The Goat Track", a bit of a speakeasy par-3 course with tee boxes tucked into various locations around the property.

When guests weren't out on the course, there was almost always an opportunity get fit for Titleist clubs by Dormie's National Master Fitting Specialist and Titleist Staffer, Adam Lash. Wade also convinced a Titleist Golf Ball Fitting Specialist to conducting tour-level golf ball fittings for every single guest in attendance.

And what fun would a Titleist event be without a Scotty Cameron putting contest? If you weren't lucky enough to best the field for a shiny new Scotty Cameron putter, perhaps you were able to best the group as a Titleist history buff in our first-ever game of Team Titleist trivia. Folks took home premium Titleist prizes like a year-supply of Pro V1 golf balls, TSi driver, Vokey SM9 wedge set, and even some FootJoy shoes. Even if you came up empty in the high-stakes raffle, a coveted tee gift stuffed full of TT gear, memories, and new golf buddies were quick to cheer you up.

A massive thank you to our gracious hosting member Wade W., our Friends at the Dormie Network, and the hardworking staff at Ballyhack Golf Club. It is group efforts like these that are the heartbeat of the Team Titleist community and we thank each and every attendee for making this event such an unforgettable experience.
